An Overcomer's Testimony

I want to encourage some people today and I hope this testimony encourages you to be bold and to be strong for the Lord is with YOU...This brief testimony is especially for all you women (preachers, ministers, mothers, workers etc) out there and men of God (preachers, fathers, ministers and workers) who are not ashamed of Jesus Christ or afraid to back down from the spirit of this age (Jezebel). You dare not compromise and pollute the FULL GOSPEL of Jesus Christ for an exorbitant fee or to win popularity. This testimony is also for those of you who may be in a cloud of darkness, confusion and crisis...

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! He came to SAVE, HEAL, DELIVER and FILL US with HIS Holy Spirit in order to do exploits for HIS Kingdom in His name....not man's kingdoms!


12 years ago (next month) in the month of October, I was arrested and taken into custody with chains and shackles around my waist and feet by the Henrico County Police. It was a 45 minute drive in the back seat of a squad car to a high security mental hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. It's a long story that I included in my first book called, "The Master's Plan: A Legacy and A Journey."


The testimony is this...God delivered me out of that place after 10 days of being locked up with drug addicts and felons who had a choice to go there for a 40 day rehab program, or go to jail. I was the first 'mental' patient taken there under a temporary detaining order (TDO). God moved while I was there and many people got saved and some were healed.


The Lord prepared me for this trial ahead of time by giving me the following verse a week before this event took place:


"Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life." Revelation 2: 10 NLT


At my final hearing, (ten days after I was admitted), I was given a court appointed attorney whom I spoke to briefly before the hearing. With her present along with the hospital's Psychiatrist, this doctor told me that he had every intention of having me committed and awarding me to the state permanently. However, God moved on my behalf, after he heard my full testimony. He expunged my case and let me go free. That my friend's is the POWER of a testimony!


I later found out that the place the police took me where I was incarcerated for 10 days was the same place they filmed a portion of the movie called, "Silence of the Lambs" starring Anthony Hopkins.


The Spirit of Jezebel has tried to silence many of God's prophets for ions. This spirit hates men and women who believe GOD, have a powerful testimony of God's deliverance, have a prophetic anointing and are bold enough to proclaim His Testimony without compromise.


I am not a survivor-I am an OVERCOMER through Christ Jesus! I will not allow the enemy to silence me even when seasons of going into a cave in order to reflect and refire are necessary; not out of fear- but out of NEED for more of JESUS' touch and healing!


To Silence a Lamb is to try and Silence THE LAMB slain from the Foundation of the Word-Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. He WILL NOT be silenced! One thing about an overcomer in Jesus, is that they become a FIGHTER! They will not quit or back down from the call of God to PROCLAIM and SHOUT it from the housetops. You cannot and will not be SILENCED!


We'd rather die than be silent. Paul said, "To live is Christ and to die is gain." Not everybody will understand you or what you've been through as a overcomer, but it's not about that!


It's NOT about seeking popularity or seeking those who are found; it's about seeking and saving those who are lost in darkness and sin! SOMEBODY out there needs your and my testimony-so TELL IT!

What if?

  November 14, 2020 Mary Ann Wray   What if?  These "What if" thoughts came to me while finishing dinner tonight...  Maybe God was trying to show me something. I don't know, but I believe we will certainly find out in His time. While some declare certain victory of their political candidate and others are still theorizing and prognosticating over what will take place, bitter words and divisiveness is being sown around daily like wild seeds. Meanwhile, I think the Father sits back on His throne shaking His head and even chuckling at our human efforts to make things right and/ or figure out the way things ought to be.... Scripture says that "God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways our higher than our ways!"  Here are some thoughts that came to me this evening.... I don't claim they were necessarily from God-maybe so, maybe not. On the other hand, these ideas are definitely not comfortable to my way of life! Here goes....

Paper Lies and The Law of Love… Mary Ann Wray I had a dream a while back where I was ministering the word of God to a congregation of people, when all of a sudden, little yellow pieces of paper (similar to post it notes) with legs began running out of the church towards the foyer door then out of the building. As the little papers with feet ran out of the building, people were being set free from bondages and the place was emptied out as the Holy Spirit washed over God’s flock with the word of the Lord. I asked the Lord what these pieces of paper were and He said, “Lies”.  You see, when God’s word is declared, that is free of ad-mixture, people can get liberated. The lies of the enemy, are like post-it notes.   They stick to our thinking and declare and decree things over us and to us that are untrue. They are half truths about God, ourselves and others.
