The Whipping Post An Early Morning Revelation 1/17/19 By Mary Ann Wray “So then Pilate took Jesus and had Him scourged (flogged, whipped). And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and put a purple robe around Him; and they kept coming up to Him, saying [mockingly], “Hail, King of the Jews [Good health! I saw Jesus’ back being torn to shreds by the cat of nine tails while he stood silently tied to a Roman Scourging Column. TESTING THE SPIRITS

I am going to write more on this but here's the thing. We are commanded to test the spirits 1 John 4: 1...Why? Because of false prophets! Today more than ever this is necessary because of all the heresy and goofiness going around in the Body of Christ much less in the world. "My people perish for a lack of knowledge." What kind of knowledge? Biblical knowledge! How do you test anything? You must have a unit of measurement. If I want to test the temperature of water I need a thermometer. If I need to test my blood pressure, I need a BP cuff. Anything from metal, to computers to automobiles need to be tested before they are put into use: there is a QA process they must go through to test their soundness. So, "how" do we test the spirits? Is it subjective or objective? Is it based on how it makes me feel or the truth? Either way, it must be based on a proven method. What is that method? What if?

  November 14, 2020 Mary Ann Wray   What if?  These "What if" thoughts came to me while finishing dinner tonight...  Maybe God was trying to show me something. I don't know, but I believe we will certainly find out in His time. While some declare certain victory of their political candidate and others are still theorizing and prognosticating over what will take place, bitter words and divisiveness is being sown around daily like wild seeds. Meanwhile, I think the Father sits back on His throne shaking His head and even chuckling at our human efforts to make things right and/ or figure out the way things ought to be.... Scripture says that "God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways our higher than our ways!"  Here are some thoughts that came to me this evening.... I don't claim they were necessarily from God-maybe so, maybe not. On the other hand, these ideas are definitely not comfortable to my way of life! Here goes....
