I hate to be a bearer of bad news folks, but an earthly ruler, president or political figure can’t save us now any more than Herod or the Roman Rule could save the Jews in Jesus’ day. Many of the Jews (mainly the spiritual leaders) rejected Jesus because he did not come politically as they hoped. Those Jews who did believe and receive Yeshua as Messiah, understood their greater need. Many of the Gentiles believed in Jesus also, when Paul the Apostle began his missionary work to them after Jesus’ Ascension and personal appearance on the road to Damascus.


Jesus came to save His people (Jew and Gentile alike) from their sins. That’s what we need saved from. That is what has separated us from God and that is what kills. We need to understand that the answer to America’s or any nations’s issues (including our own) are not and will not be found in a political or religious figure. If we maintain that type of mentality, when the False Prophet and Anti-Christ appear on the World Scene promising “peace”, people will be duped into thinking those persons are the answer. They are NOT. They will be wolves in sheep‘s clothing! We need to pray for spiritual discernment and be well schooled in the word of God. Beware!


The answer is the same now as it was then...JESUS Christ and TRUST in His sinless blood atoning sacrifice! Yes, we need to pray for our leaders, our country and its people, and we need to vote responsibly, but let’s stop putting our trust in princes and put our trust in the KING! We Christians need to remember that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation! There are lost souls we need to be reaching with the gospel of Jesus Christ and prayer.


Did't Jesus say that we need to beware of the Leaven of Herod? What is that? It is the teachings which are political in nature, that creep into the house of God and taint the glorious good news. All this type of teaching does is divide people, and create schisms even in the church! Jesus said, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is His." Leave politics out of the gospel and watch what God will do!


It’s time to get back to preaching the PURE gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders following. His House is to be a House of Prayer-not debate and political wranglings.Sheep crave still water and pure fodder not the rumbling rushing water of heated political opinions.


“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”

What if?

  November 14, 2020 Mary Ann Wray   What if?  These "What if" thoughts came to me while finishing dinner tonight...  Maybe God was trying to show me something. I don't know, but I believe we will certainly find out in His time. While some declare certain victory of their political candidate and others are still theorizing and prognosticating over what will take place, bitter words and divisiveness is being sown around daily like wild seeds. Meanwhile, I think the Father sits back on His throne shaking His head and even chuckling at our human efforts to make things right and/ or figure out the way things ought to be.... Scripture says that "God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways our higher than our ways!"  Here are some thoughts that came to me this evening.... I don't claim they were necessarily from God-maybe so, maybe not. On the other hand, these ideas are definitely not comfortable to my way of life! Here goes....

Paper Lies and The Law of Love… Mary Ann Wray I had a dream a while back where I was ministering the word of God to a congregation of people, when all of a sudden, little yellow pieces of paper (similar to post it notes) with legs began running out of the church towards the foyer door then out of the building. As the little papers with feet ran out of the building, people were being set free from bondages and the place was emptied out as the Holy Spirit washed over God’s flock with the word of the Lord. I asked the Lord what these pieces of paper were and He said, “Lies”.  You see, when God’s word is declared, that is free of ad-mixture, people can get liberated. The lies of the enemy, are like post-it notes.   They stick to our thinking and declare and decree things over us and to us that are untrue. They are half truths about God, ourselves and others. These “paper lies” seek to rule and dominate our thinking frustrating the flow of God’s grace and power...
