Angel of Light...
Angel of light...
Prophetic Dream
Mary Ann Wray
I had a dream last night that I was in the back of a van with my husband and some other people. I looked out the left window and up in the sky, although it was dark, I saw a beautiful white cloud formulating. It took on the shape of an angel. I got really excited and I said “look everybody there is an angel!”
As soon as I said that it grew bigger, got closer and came flying toward the van but nobody was paying attention to me as I was relaying what was happening.
As soon as the angel got up to the window it morphed into a dragon. It looked like the kind you see in the Chinese New Year’s Parades. It was snarling at me. I could see its teeth, it’s glaring eyes, it’s scales and it’s various colors. But I wasn’t alarmed or afraid. Next I realized it was made out of plastic. As I sat there looking at it, I thought to myself, "Really??? this is what you are?”
As soon as I had that thought just sitting there in the back of the van the creature shattered into 1000 pieces.
This morning at prayer the Lord gave me an interpretation....You may very well receive a different or additional insight from this dream because the Holy Spirit is the One who interprets things and gives us revelation - not human intellectual wisdom.
As with any revelation that God gives us, there are multiple layers to it. He unwraps it a bit at a time. There’s more to the dream for me personally, but this is all I felt led to share at this point...
Interpretation...
We know the devil appears as an angel of light and can take on a form that seems so wonderful and even enamoring. It’s something that can get our full attention and cause us to focus solely on it. We can even believe certain things and see things a certain way but we end up being mistaken, disillusioned or deceived in some measure.
We can even get excited about what we see, but then things can quickly change into something we realize is not of the Lord. Whether it is the way we look at how we should do church, view certain situations, or see certain things including ourselves and others we may be seeing through a smoke screen. The Holy Spirit will open our eyes and give us revelation as we seek His face. God looks at His children through the long suffering love lens of possibility and promise not destruction.
We may feel alone in the journey at times even though there are people around because they don’t see what we see. But that’s OK.
Once the Lord opens our eyes we can see the enemy for what he is and laugh. He who sits in the Heaven laughs! Ha ha! All we have to do is be obedient, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Psalm 91 says only with our eyes will we see the reward of the wicked One! People are not the enemy... therefore when we walk in love and the fruit of the spirit the enemy can’t overcome us in our relationships.
There are spirits at work against us and against the Body of Christ, but they have no dominion over us when we know who we are in Christ Jesus! There’s no weapon formed that can prosper!!
God has got this! You’ve been seated with Christ in heavenly places far above principalities and powers and rulers in dark places.
I feel like God is saying to some of you “Just stand still and see his salvation. Trust in him with all of your heart.”
If you’ve been disillusioned, or in a place that you’re not sure where you’re going, He’s really got you no matter what it looks or feels like. You don’t have to fight the battle. It’s already been won for you!”
“A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone...
